We operate a strict data privacy policy in that we do not share or divulge any user information with any 3rd party, individual, company or other entity...At all!

We do not store data outwith the UK and we do not enter into arrangements with advertisers or affiliates which might require the sharing of data.

The only exception to the above would be in the case of a court order requiring us to provide such information to the appropriate authorities.

Stored information i.e. email addresses, names, date of birth etc. is not available to staff responsible for updating and development of the website. Stored personal data is only available to a specified administrator and is only accessed in special circumstances, such as the possible abuse of the e-card system.

Access to Information

The Data Protection Act 1998 gives all individuals the right to access personal information that is held about them. You can request a copy of any information that we hold about you. Please note that any request for this information may be subject to payment of £10 which covers our administrative costs. Please contact us if you wish to make such a request. Security

We do not, nor ever will, use any form of hidden code/links within our web pages. We do not enter into relationships with advertisers and/or affiliates who would ever do so. We host our website on extremely secure servers, based in the UK, and all files are tested regularly.

HBTU is absolutely opposed to the use of malware/spyware. We advise all our visitors to ensure that their web browsers are updated and that sufficient security software is installed and updated.
